Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to reducing waste and maximising the reuse and recycling of workplace furniture and materials. By following the Waste Hierarchy Model, we prioritise reuse wherever possible, extending the life of furniture through refurbishment or charitable donation. Anything that cannot be reused is responsibly recycled through our trusted partners, helping our clients minimise waste and supporting our commitment to a zero-landfill approach.
Rycycle
Our on-site recycling center is dedicated to responsibly sorting, compacting, and recycling any unwanted items and packing materials that cannot be reused. Materials are carefully broken down and separated into categories such as cardboard, wood, metal, plastic, and general waste, ensuring efficient and eco-friendly disposal.
Re-use
With our clients permission, we donate used furnishings to charitable organisations. These charities utilise the furniture to support various community initiatives. This approach reflects our commitment to social and environmental responsibility while helping to reduce your environmental footprint
Waste hierarchy model
K-Group follows the Waste Hierarchy Model: reduce, reuse, recycle, recover, and dispose. We assess items for reuse within the client’s estate, then donate unwanted furniture to charities (with permission) that support community initiatives. Our on-site recycling center handles items unsuitable for reuse, and Sortera Ltd, our recycling partner, ensures minimal waste and zero landfill impact.
